Evan McIntosh
Bektash Shriners
Evan McIntosh is a fourth-generation Mason who became a Shriner in 2021 after seeing a
commercial for Shriners Children’s. He says being a Shriner is his way of giving back in memory of his late son, Noah.
In addition to serving on the Shriners Children's Boston Board of Governors, Evan is treasurer of Bektash Shriners and is now in his fourth year in the role.
Evan’s commitment to service runs deep. He is an Eagle Scout, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and has over 20 years of experience in the fire service. Whether through his professional life or his dedication to the fraternity, Evan continues to honor his values of service, leadership, and compassion—making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Adam Latham
Zenobia Shriners
Adam Latham became a Freemason in 2020. Later that year, he joined the Scottish Rite and became a Shriner in 2021. He quickly became active with the Zenobia Shriners – planning fundraisers, bringing new energy to events and working on internal communication projects.
His involvement extends beyond the fraternity. He serves as the parade co-chair for the Roche de Boeuf Festival and is a former member of his local Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
“When you care about something, you don’t wait around. You step in, offer your time, and do your part,” Latham said. “I’ve found meaning in helping to build something worth passing on.” He believes the Shrine gives him the opportunity to live out this commitment – while also keeping his family involved.

Jason Fishner
Kalurah Shriners
Jason Fishner was raised in Cobleskill Lodge in Cobleskill, NY and joined Delhi Lodge in Delhi, NY in 2010 after moving. He served as Master at the Delhi Lodge and, following a merger, served twice as Master in Delaware River Lodge. He joined Shriners International in 2020 and went into the line in 2021. In 2023, he joined the Scottish Rite, however he and his family and have found their home with Shriners. He is extremely active in his Temple and is constantly working on revitalizing his local Shrine club and bringing in new
members. My family actively attends New York Ontario Shrine Association meetings.
Gabe Garofano
Ben Ali Shriners
For Noble Gabe Garofano, serving as vice president of his college fraternity laid the groundwork for his leadership journey within the Shriners fraternity. Gabe is actively involved in his Lodge and the Scottish Rite; however, he says, “The Shrine is really where my heart is.” His wife is also active with Ben Ali Shriners as the chair of the ladies’ craft fair, which has raised thousands of dollars.
Recognizing the need to engage both new and current members, Ben Ali Shriners decided to try new approaches. One successful initiative was opening membership meetings to the public, which not only provided a great experience but also attracted several new and former members.
Ben Ali Shriners is collaborating with ASIYA Shriners on a car show event. This partnership aims to showcase both organizations and offers an opportunity for the public and potential members to learn more about the fraternity.

Justin Doherty
Moolah Shriners
Just Doherty joined Blue Lodge in 2015 and later, Moolah Shriners in 2016, and has served as Secretary since 2018 for Hermann Lodge #123. He is very active in Yomo and Arab Patrol, and has competed in multiple CSSAs, winning a few trophies.

He has run 21 miles from the St. Louis Arch to Shriners Children's St. Louis and then to the Temple to raise awareness for the Baton Death March and Shriners Children's.
His primary role is to be an active supporter of Shriners units and Temple. He is proud of his service to the organization and knowing he is helping change the world. Justin said, "Being a Shriner is hard work and the
work will change your life for the better. I know it has changed mine!"

Stephen said, "My favorite part of being a Shriner is the ability to have fun while doing things to better myself and others around me; and at the end of the day be a part of an organization that goes above and beyond to help
children that otherwise would go without the needed care to better their lives."
