Rick Holloway, of Idaho, is serving his second year as a member of the Boards of Directors for Shriners International and Shriners Children’s™. He was elected Imperial Captain of the Guard, part of the 13-member body that helps govern the Shriners fraternity, during the Shriners 2026 Imperial Session held July 12-July 16 in Tampa, Florida.

Professional & Personal

Holloway has built a career as an administrator, owner and consultant for hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities across Idaho and Nevada. He is the administrator for the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise, where his servant leadership has resulted in low staff turnover, high resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance and substantial financial success. His wife, Jackie, is a Past Supreme Queen (2024), Daughters of the Nile. Both Rick and Jackie are active in Angel Flight West, with Rick flying 181 missions over seven years to help patients reach medical appointments across the Pacific Northwest.

Despite their busy schedules, Rick and Jackie find time to enjoy their four children and five grandchildren. Rick is a fifth-degree black belt in taekwondo. He credits his time on the Board of Governors at Shriners Children’s Portland as one of the most rewarding experiences of his life, citing the lasting friendships and sense of purpose he’s found among fellow board members and hospital staff.
