Speaker 1: The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, an official PGA Tour FedEx Cup event has been a Los Vegas tradition since 1983. And Shriners have been involved since becoming title sponsor and host in 2008. The tournament has been home to many historic moments in the game of golf, including Chip Beck's 59, the first million dollar purse on the PGA tour, Tiger Woods' first professional victory in 1996, and Jonathan Byrd's playoff walk-off ace in 2010. Since Shriner's involvement began, the tournament has played host to many of the top names in golf, including Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, and Brooks Koepki.

Isn't all about what happens inside the ropes. However, as the tournament broadcast spreads the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children through 240 countries and territories, and over 900 million homes around the world, annually generating over 4 billion impressions. This signature event plays a vital role in raising awareness for our cause. Throughout the years, the event has grown in many ways, which strengthen the message that is distributed, not just during the broadcast, but 365 days a year via print, digital, and various social media mediums.

These enhancements include the Standard Bearer Ambassador Program, which brings a patient representative from each hospital to the tournament to serve as representatives of their hospital, city, and supporting temples. Also, our hospitals are identified On course by a hole signs, while various temples support our volunteer needs to marshaling holes as a group or serving in a variety of roles throughout the course. Why volunteer? We're glad you asked.

Speaker 2: Shriners Hospitals For Children Open is our largest sporting event that we do throughout the year. Having it successful for awareness, the branding of our hospitals is extremely important to our fraternity. The Shriners have the opportunity to marshal the holes so that they can see the children, they can see the players, and they can really try to get the awareness out there that this is Shriners. owning Shriners Hospitals for Children. We've done this for over 90 years and it's critical that we not only keep our hospitals going, but that we grow our membership so that we can support, not only our tournament, but Shriners Hospitals for Children taking care of our kids.

Speaker 3: This is my sixth year. I enjoy this. I missed it a couple of years. Didn't know how much fun a person can have when we was here. Once you come here the first time you'll be here the second time. I met so many different Shriners from throughout the world. If you notice my pins, I collect pins. I have a shadow box with pins from last years. And it's something that you get to experience that you don't know.

Speaker 4: The best part of it for me was seeing the passion that everyone here has for what Shriners does, which is well-placed in my opinion, because they do do amazing work. You know, Shriners, there's no pretense there with what they do. And the only goal for what they do is to help children, to help people get better and to get their lives back. And what better passion is there really, but just to help children who need it? I think my best part was really the people, honestly.

Speaker 5: I think that the players coming back here and being a part of our philanthropy really is attributed to the patients and the awareness that we create. I think the Shriners do a great job representing who we are as a part of it. And when you combine the awareness that we've done through TV, the Shriners and their commitment to what we do, the patients and the success that they've had, and you put all those things together, it captures people's interest and they want to become a part of it. They want to be more of it. And that's what we found with players when they come here, they want to be a part of it. And it reaches a point where they want to help us, right? So now they want to help raise money for us. How great is that
