William "Billy" Florence Cigarette Case

This gold-lined, metal cigarette case belonged to William “Billy” Florence, actor and co-founder of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (now Shriners International). The back of the case has a crescent and scimitar engraved onto it.

The cigarette case was on display at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia, until 2012. It is now on display at Shriners International Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
