What is the cost to enroll in the Virtual Event Series / Apprentice Certificate?
The Virtual Event Series / Apprentice certificate is valued at $195 and is complimentary for Shriners, spouses and members of the Masonic family, including both men and women from appendant, allied and affiliated bodies. Does the 3rd Annual Virtual Event Series feature new content/speakers?
The 3rd Annual Virtual Event Series features all new courses from industry-leading instructors in the Masonic community and nonprofit sector.
When are the dates of the four (4) virtual events?
- Virtual Event #1: November 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. ET
- Virtual Event #2: December 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. ET
- Virtual Event #3: March 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. ET
- Virtual Event #4: April 13, 2020 at 1 p.m. ET
When will the links and instructions be sent for the virtual events?
When you enroll in the Virtual Event Series, you are automatically registered for all four virtual events. You will receive an email with your link and log‐in information. You will also receive several additional reminder emails with the link leading up to each virtual event.
Will the live virtual event be translated?
Not at this time.
What is the deadline to register for the virtual events?
The deadline to register for the virtual event series and be eligible to receive an Appreciate Certificate is by April 28, 2023. After the deadline on April 28, 2023, the virtual event series will remain on-demand on this website.
Are the virtual events recorded?
Yes! For students unable to benefit from attending the live events, they can watch the recorded events for credit towards their Apprentice Certificate.
2023 In-person Conference / Fellow Certificate
What is the cost to enroll in the in-person conference / Fellow Certificate?
In-Person Conference / Fellow Certificate is valued at $595.
The student cost is $149 for your first student, $139 for your second and third attendees, and $99 for spouses and run from Nov. 18, 2022 through Jan. 26, 2023.
Early bird discounts end Nov. 17, 2022. The Early bird student cost is $129 for your first student, $119 for your second and third attendees, and $79 for spouses. Can children attend the classes at the in-person conference?
The learning environment is designed to engage adult learners - children are not permitted to enroll/attend the conference.
Will the in‐person conference be broadcast virtually?
The conference curriculum is designed to facilitate interpersonal learning onsite and will not be broadcasted.
What is the dress code for the in‐person conference?
The dress code for the conference is business casual. Students are encouraged to bring their appropriate regalia (Fez, cap, etc.)
What is the deadline to register for the in-person?
The deadline to register for the in-person conference is Jan. 26, 2023.
What is your cancellation/refund/substitution policy?
All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by Jan. 26, 2023. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be granted for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests submitted after Jan. 26, 2023. Submit all requests to the Office of Membership and Development via email at membership@shrinenet.org. Shriners International Education Foundation (SIEF) regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. All requests for exceptions to the cancellation/refund policy must be submitted in writing by the registrant with appropriate documentation no later than Feb. 1, 2023. After that time, no refund considerations will be made.
Substitutions of registrations are permitted prior to the event start dates, and no later than Feb. 1, 2023. Please submit a written request to membership@shrinenet.org. Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. Only one substitution is permitted per the original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.
Will promotional photography and videography be taken at the event?
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the 2023 Membership & Marketing Conference and related activities, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image, likeness, and/or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions and audio by Shriners International and Shriners International Education Foundation (SIEF), for commercial or promotional purposes, in any medium or context now known or later developed without further authorization. Attendees shall have no right of approval, no claim to financial compensation, and no other claim arising out of such use of the attendee's name, likeness, image, voice, statements, and/or surroundings.

How do I make a reservation at the host hotel?

Is there a special hotel rate?
Yes! To receive the Shriner friends and family rate special, students must visit SIEFReservations.com for the $164 per night rate. Students must make their reservation before Jan.16, 2023 to receive this rate.
Does the special hotel rate extend before and after the conference?
Yes! The conference runs from Feb. 9-11, 2023 and the special hotel rates are available from Feb. 7-12, 2023 for students seeking to enjoy Grapevine and Dallas Fort Worth area.
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving no later than Wed., Feb. 8 as the conference begins on Thurs., Feb. 9 at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 1 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 11. Students must attend the entire conference to receive a Fellow Certificate.
Is childcare available?
Childcare is not available onsite.
All-Inclusive Excursion
I have already enrolled in the conference. Can I add the optional excursion?
Yes. If the excursion is not sold out, you can find your original confirmation email, scroll to the Order Summary section “view and manage” link. Under the “excursion” field, change your selection from No to Yes, add the quantity and enter your credit card information for payment.
Will excursion tickets be available for sale onsite?

2023 Masters Class Certificate
How do I enroll in the Masters Class?
Students are automatically enrolled in the Masters Class Certificate program upon enrolling in both the in-person conference and Virtual Event Series.
What is the cost to enroll in the Masters Class?
Masters Class is valued at $795; there is no additional cost for Master Class enrollment.
Can I still receive a 2021 and/or 2022 Masters Class Certificate?
Enrollment in the 2021/2022 Masters Class Certificate program is closed. The cutoff date for obtaining the 2021 / 2022 Masters Class Certificate was July 2022.

Is SIEF a nonprofit organization?
Shriners International Education Foundation (SIEF) is a fully qualified 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to SIEF are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (EIN 81-3788196). To claim a donation as a deduction on U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. Receipts are issued via email upon successful completion of a donation.
Is payment for the in-person conference tax deductible?
No portion of the registration cost is considered a charitable donation.
