(MINNEAPOLIS) Cary H. Mielke, M.D., was recently appointed chief of staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Twin Cities where he has served as assistant chief of staff since 2006.
Dr. Mielke is a graduate of Macalester College and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the University of Utah and Shriners Hospital for Children — Salt Lake City.
Dr. Mielke is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. His areas of special interest include lower extremity reconstruction and the care of children with cerebral palsy.
