Shrine dignitaries from the Philippines visited the Northern California Shriners Hospital in Sacramento on Thursday, July 10. Among the distinguished guests was MW Alan La Madrid Purisima, who carries three titles: Police Director General and Chief, Philippines National Police, Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines and Illustrious Potentate of the Mabuhay Shriners Philippines.

Mr. Purisima  traveled to the United States with other members of his Shrine Temple and Masonic Lodge to attend the Shriners Imperial Session that just took place in Minneapolis, Minn. During the meeting, he met Terry Moody and Mark Parinas, both Nobles of Aahmes Shriners and members of the Northern California Hospital Board of Governors. When Mr. Purisima shared his dream of establishing a hospital like the Northern California hospital in the Philippines, the Aahmes Nobles invited him to come for a hospital tour.

Mr. Parinas hosted Mr. Purisima and his fellow Nobles and Masons for the hospital tour. The group thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the hospital. They were particularly impressed by their visit to the Intensive Care Unit.
