Shriners International Welcomes 195th Temple

Agila Shriners receive their charter    Imperial Potentate Michael G. Severe presents a charter to members of Agila Shriners during the 2012 Imperial Session in Charlotte, NC.

Shriners International  welcomed Agila Shriners of Mindanao, The Philippines, as its 195th chartered temple (chapter) during the 2012 Imperial Session in Charlotte, NC. In the last three years, there have been four new temples added. In 2011, Emirat Shriners in Germany received their charter; in 2010, both Mabuhay Shriners in The Philippines and Al Rai’e Saleh Shriners in Puerto Rico received their charters. 

“The interest our fraternity has received in other countries has been wonderful to see,” said Past Imperial Potentate Nick Thomas, chairman of the international development committee. “Our international brothers are an integral part of our future and we look forward to this trend continuing in the years to come.”
