Brad T. Koehn, Imperial Treasurer

Brad T. Koehn of Topeka, Kansas, is currently serving his first year as a member of the Boards of Directors for Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Koehn was elected Imperial Treasurer, part of the 12-member body that helps govern the Shriners fraternity, during the Shriners’ 2017 Imperial Session – held in Daytona Beach, Florida, July 9 – July 13.

Koehn was raised a Master Mason at Topeka Lodge #17 in Topeka, Kansas, in May 1981, and is now a member of Orient Lodge #51 in Topeka. Koehn is also a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Topeka.

Koehn became a member of Arab Shriners in Topeka in 1981, served as the temple’s Potentate in 2015, and is currently active with their Membership Committee.

For six years, Koehn has served on the Finance and Audit Committee of Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children, including as Imperial Auditor and Chairman for three of those years. In addition, he currently serves on the Capital Evaluation, Sports and Golf committees.

Koehn is also a member of the Order of Quetzacoatl and Royal Order of Jesters, and a lifetime member of Cabiri International.

Koehn received his bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration from the University of Kansas. He is currently a Director with the accounting firm of Berberich Trahan & Co., P.A., where he has been employed for more than 36 years. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of CPAs. Koehn’s work experience includes providing audit, tax and accounting assistance to many Shriners International temples.

Koehn and his wife, Cheryl, have two sons and a daughter, Tyler, Brett and Courtney. Both sons are also Shriners. Koehn is a third-generation Shrine Mason and followed in his father’s footsteps as Potentate of Arab.
