Orthopaedic Screening Clinics

Thursday, May 9, 2013

Shriners throughout the Midwest will host several orthopaedic screening clinics this spring and summer to help local parents determine if their children are eligible for treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children® — St. Louis. These clinics, provided free for families, will screen children for orthopaedic conditions treatable at the pediatric specialty hospital.

Medical professionals at these clinics will help identify children in the area who can benefit from the expert care in pediatric orthopaedics provided by some of the world’s foremost orthopaedic surgeons at Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis. However, children will not be diagnosed, they will only be evaluated to determine if the child has a condition treatable at Shriners Hospitals for Children.

All are welcome. Families need not know a Shriner to attend the clinic. All care at Shriners Hospitals for Children is provided regardless of the patients' ability to pay. Please note, if your town is not hosting a screening clinic, but you would like to refer a child to Shriners Hospitals for Children, please feel free to call our toll-free patient referral number at 1-800-850-2960 (M-F 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
