Noble Ronald H. Breberg of Zuhrah Shriners in Minneapolis has been named Shriner of the Month for February 2014. The new award program, which launched in January, was developed by the leadership of Shriners International to recognize those nobles who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to both the fraternity and its philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Personal displays of leadership, especially by example, and consistent participation in temple activities and efforts, and/or support of the health care system, all contribute to consideration for the award.
A Committed Leader
Noble Breberg of Centerville, Minn., became a Shriner in 1974. He has demonstrated effective and positive displays of leadership through his involvement with the temple and Shriners Hospitals for Children ― Twin Cities for nearly 40 years. Noble Breberg has just completed a three-year term as chief of staff, for Zuhrah Shriners, and has recently accepted the appointment of director general for the 2017 Midwest Shrine Association session. In addition, Noble Breberg is serving as chairman of the 2014 Imperial Session Transportation Committee.
Encouraging Fellowship and Brotherhood
In addition to serving as a positive role model, Noble Breberg’s dedication to and support of Shriners Hospitals for Children is commendable. He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Twin Cities Shriners Hospital and remains an active member on several committees supporting the health care system.
Concurrently, Noble Breberg celebrates the joys of fellowship and brotherhood through his involvement with the Zuhrah Shriners’ circus and cycle corp., where he has been a long time member for more than 25 and 20 years, respectively.
“Noble Breberg is a perfect example of the kind of temple leader that we hoped to honor with the Shriner of the Month Award,” said Shriners International Executive Vice President and Imperial Recorder Jack H. Jones. “We are privileged to have such a dedicated and committed member within our organization.”
Congratulations to Noble Breberg for his achievements and for being chosen Shriner of the Month.
