New Book Shares Our Stories

Sunday, June 30, 2013

Our Stories book cover(TAMPA, Fla.) Shriners Hospitals for Children® are places where hope and healing meet, and lives are forever changed. Our patients often overcome more than anyone believed possible, and become more healthy, confident and independent than ever expected. The patients’ families learn they are not alone in their quest to help their children.

The Shriners International fraternity founded and continues to operate and support the Shriners Hospitals for Children health care system. The compassion and commitment of the organization’s members has helped make it possible for more than 1 million children to receive excellent, expert care, and go on to follow their dreams, and have full, happy lives.

The best way to understand the importance and impact of Shriners Hospitals for Children and Shriners International is through the reflections of the Shriners family – the patients and families, the employees and the Shriners themselves.

We invite you to learn more about the successes of our patients, the people who helped them along the way, and the Shriners who belong to the fraternity that was founded on the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth and support the health care system. We share their stories in our new publication, Our Stories, which can be purchased online at http://support.shrinershospitals.org/OurStories for a donation of $15.
