The Al Chymia Shriners of eastern Tennessee are hosting their 18th annual "Shrine Trail Ride" Oct. 14-16 to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
The ride, in memory of Jack Atkins, will be held at the Wrangler Campground at Natchez Trace State Park and is hosted by the Al Chymia Shrine Carroll County Mounted Patrol.
A ride donation of $10 per day, or $15 for both days will be asked. Children under 12 are half price if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Ride and enjoy the beautiful trails of Natchez Trace State Park!
Directions: Interstate 40 between Jackson and Nashville. Exit #116, then south on Highway 114, 2.5 miles to Wrangler Campground entrance on the right. Campground site available on a first-come, first-served basis. Camping fees will be collected by the State of Tennessee at a rate of $20 per night (water, electrical hook-ups and bathhouse). 10% meal discounts available at Pin Oak Lodge while camping.
Friday, Oct. 14: Check in and registration begins.
5:30 p.m. - hamburger and hot dog plates with dessert and drink: $5 each. Children under 12, half price.
Saturday, Oct. 15: Registration continues throughout the day
5 p.m. - BBQ plate with dessert and drink: $6 each
6 p.m. - Auction (donated items for auction will be greatly appreciated)
Sunday, Oct. 16: Registration continues through noon
8:30 a.m. - Worship service at the pavilion
Noon - Grand Prize Drawing (Wester Pleasure Saddle). Need not be present to win.
12:01 p.m. - Door prize - MUST be present to win
No admission to park without negative coggins!
